Our clients purchased an unfinished house with mismatched windows, mixed materials, and incomplete spaces. We transformed this space into a beautiful and functional home with cohesive, modern details.

We want every home we design and build to be comfortable in all types of weather and in all seasons. We installed a Douglas fir entry door and extended the porch roof to create a protected transition into the home. The flooring combines radiant heat with COREtec luxury vinyl, which includes a cork backing for sound reduction and comfort. A gas stove provides the warmth and ambiance of a wood-burning fireplace with the convenience of propane.
The lakeside wall required complete reframing to capture views of the property's private pond. Although the clients initially wanted to change the shiny wood ceiling, its sheen became an asset when paired with new sheetrock walls and Andersen windows throughout the space. The open floor plan preserves sight lines from the kitchen through the dining area to the water. We mounted wall sconces at the edge of the loft, maintaining both views and function while providing illumination for the kitchen workspace below.
The original 1000-square-foot structure required expansion to accommodate the client’s family. We added a dining room wing and extended the kitchen beyond the loft area to create a functional workspace. The kitchen expansion connects to the new dining room through an open floor plan. Upstairs, we configured three bedrooms and installed a pullout bed in the loft area. The loft redesign includes new railings and fixtures that maintain the open feel.
In addition to managing the entire design and build process, our team also coordinated all furniture selections and deliveries. We collaborated with the client through regular communication to source vintage finds, such as the soapstone sink, and to incorporate family heirlooms. Before the move-in date, we arranged delivery coordination, furniture installation, and professional cleaning services, allowing the family to arrive at a fully furnished home.
